CNC Programmer & Machining Technician
Location: First Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM | Saturdays 6:00 AM-12:00 PM as needed (up to 56 hours/week)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (Potential after 90 days)
Starting Pay: From $33.00/hour (Higher compensation available based on experience.)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Machining Technician to manufacture precision industrial components. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining tight machining tolerances and producing high-quality finished parts in a heavy industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret machining drawings and technical blueprints.
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills.
Create and edit G-code programs using Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls (experience with all controls is not required).
Machine parts to specifications while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0005".
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Produce accurate, high-quality components while meeting production requirements.
Follow established safety procedures in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Maintain dependable attendance and work scheduled hours, including occasional Saturdays.
Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Qualifications
Experience programming and operating CNC lathes and mills.
Ability to read and interpret machining drawings and technical documentation.
Experience with G-code programming.
Familiarity with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain CNC controls.
Strong understanding of precision machining and quality standards.
Experience using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
