This is a key role within our clinical education and workforce development provision, supporting safe, effective and high-quality patient care by ensuring clinicians have the knowledge, skills and confidence required to deliver care across a variety of settings. The role will also act as a bridge between clinical, operational and governance teams, helping to promote a culture of learning, quality improvement and patient safety.

About the role

As Clinical Skills & Education Facilitator, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, evaluating and improving clinical skills training programmes aligned to organisational priorities, service requirements and best practice.

The role will involve supporting clinicians across a range of practitioner groups through teaching, coaching, mentorship, supervision and competency assessment. You will help identify learning needs through audit findings, incident trends, feedback, governance themes and service developments, ensuring education is targeted, relevant and responsive to operational and clinical priorities.

Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing education on choking management, RESPECT documentation, DNAR processes, end-of-life care and prescribing principles.
  • Delivering practical clinical skills training, including venepuncture, catheterisation, ECG acquisition and interpretation, T34 syringe pump management and venous access devices.
  • Facilitating pathology and diagnostic education sessions.
  • Leading case-based learning, reflective practice sessions and clinical reasoning discussions.
  • Supporting induction, onboarding and capability development of new clinical staff.
  • Developing training resources, educational materials and competency frameworks.
  • Maintaining and overseeing clinical skills equipment, training resources, clinical skills boxes and equipment inventories.
  • Supporting the implementation of new equipment training and associated competency assessments.
  • Promoting collaborative working across clinical, operational and governance teams.
  • Contributing to education-led quality improvement, clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.

About you

You will be a registered healthcare professional, such as an Enhanced Clinical Practitioner or Urgent Care Practitioner with significant clinical experience in urgent, primary, community or integrated care settings.

You will be confident delivering education, training or competency assessment, with excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills. HealthHero is on track to build one of the largest digital health players in the world through a combination of buy-and-build and scale up of an existing portfolio through organic execution. While there are multiple small players with specific offering in digital health, we have established that there is a very significant opportunity to build a scale player that provides a holistic, integrated offering in virtual primary care. The market timing is compelling, and the need is pronounced across multiple segments- some we are present in and others we are entering through further acquisitions. HealthHero currently operates across UK, Ireland and Germany and is backed by pan-European investment house MARCOL.

We are looking to build a high caliber team to deliver this plan.
