We are seeking an experienced Business Technology Architect to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology execution. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that improve business processes, integrate systems, and support the company's long-term digital transformation.

The Role

As the Business Technology Architect, you will work closely with executive leadership and department heads to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop scalable technology solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

You will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company's technology architecture roadmap.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation.
• Design scalable technology solutions that support business growth.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or replacements where necessary.
• Lead systems integration initiatives across CRM, finance, marketing, operations, and other business platforms.
• Work closely with software developers, vendors, and third-party technology partners.
• Ensure data flows efficiently between business systems through APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during digital transformation projects.
• Develop architecture documentation, process maps, and technical standards.
• Identify emerging technologies that could improve operational efficiency.
• Support technology governance, security, scalability, and best practices.
• Assist with vendor evaluations and technology selection.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, budgets, and timelines.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Technology Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience designing business technology solutions.
• Experience integrating multiple business systems.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data architecture.
• Experience working with CRM, ERP, and cloud-based platforms.
• Excellent business analysis and process mapping skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience with Power BI or business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth organisation.
• Exposure to AI, automation, and low-code/no-code platforms.
