We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the business.

This position requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate, audit-ready financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple companies.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Manage collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process purchase orders and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and other financial reports as required.
• Ensure financial records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready.
• Work closely with the external accountant to support financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements

• Assist with document preparation and file management.
• Support management with ad hoc administrative tasks and reporting.
• Learn and effectively use new software platforms as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping and office administration.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop is essential.
• Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple companies is highly advantageous.
• Construction, contracting, or project-based accounting experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable learning new software and adapting to changing business needs.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
