W Costa Navarino is looking for a Barista / Bartender. The selected candidate will serve as a Barista, responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations of the bar. This includes preparing for operational needs, possessing a thorough knowledge of coffee recipes and coffee machine functions, and demonstrating creativity and teamwork. A guest-oriented attitude is essential, as the Barista must consistently deliver high-quality service in every interaction to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a courteous manner, take orders and serve with accuracy, while demonstrating upselling techniques.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and have basic knowledge of classic and signature cocktail recipes.
• Organize and prepare the mise en place at all bar sections, in a timely manner and according to brand standards. Check daily the stock retail products and refill stations according to operational needs.
• Must be able to work under pressure and high volume operation effectively and seamlessly
• Ensure all equipment is clean and properly functioning, as well as ensure the cleanliness of the BOH.
• Follow all SOPs to ensure operational excellence and ensure brand standards are followed at all times.
• Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times.
• Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news

Requirements

• Two years of service experience in a 5-star hotel preferred
• High school diploma
• Strong knowledge of bar recipes and equipment
• Fluent in English
• Effective selling and upselling abilities
• Proficient in MICROS and POS systems
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols, brand standards, and company procedures
