We are recruiting for a Yard Supervisor to join our thriving branch in Newton Abbot, and become part of a successful and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice
Ensure your team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
Help to process and prepare customer orders - load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided!)
Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
Keep the branch looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
Working Hours:
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 07:00 – 17:00, and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00
