Job Title

Weekly Supply Planner IGT-S

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Make sure every image-guided therapy system leaves our factory on time, by turning the master production schedule into a weekly supply plan that hospitals, their clinicians and their patients can count on.

You are responsible for

  • Owning the weekly supply planning cycle for a defined IGT-S product scope, from demand signal through to confirmed order, and keeping the plan, the weekly meeting cadence and the business planning snapshots current so decisions are taken on today's facts, including managing planning parameters, forecasts and planning master data.

  • Running the weekly planning process using o9 application: maintaining the supply, capacity and lead-time models, executing the weekly planning run, working the exception and alert workspaces, and releasing the resulting production and material plans into SAP for execution.

  • Translating the master production schedule into a feasible weekly build plan by balancing capacity, material availability and order priority, and establishing constrained allocation plans across the full supply chain whenever supply is short.

  • Using o9 scenario mapping and root-cause analysis to anticipate constraints before they reach the line, quantifying the impact of each option and recommending the trade-off between customer service, inventory and cost.

  • Driving AI into the execution of this function: applying the machine-learning forecasting, automated alerting and recommendation capabilities in o9 to automate routine rescheduling, surface only the exceptions that genuinely need a planner, and raise both plan accuracy and planner productivity year on year.

  • Acting as the single point of contact for the weekly plan towards procurement, manufacturing, NPI and the planning organisation, escalating risk early and confirming delivery commitments that are realistic.

  • Ensuring material changes are executed timely and correctly to prevent both shortage and obsolescence impact. Keep percentage planning lists (P-BOM) updated based on changing demand & supply trends.

  • Analyzing process inefficiencies and leading the improvement of planning concepts, systems and lean ways of working, embedding new o9 functionality and AI-supported practices into the standard weekly routine.

  • Safeguarding the planning KPIs that matter - schedule adherence, on-time delivery, inventory turns and plan accuracy - and reporting on them in the weekly and monthly planning reviews.

You are a part of

You join the Integrated Planning team of the Integrated Supply Chain for Image Guided Therapy Systems in Best, the team that sets the rhythm between what the market asks for and what our factories and suppliers can deliver. It is a compact, hands-on group of planners and supply chain professionals working shoulder to shoulder with manufacturing, procurement and NPI. We are actively rebuilding the way we plan around o9 and applied AI, so you will shape the process as much as you run it.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Economics, Operations Research, Business Analytics or an equivalent field.

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1 year with a Master's degree, in supply planning, production scheduling or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience with an advanced planning system, o9 strongly preferred, combined with ERP (SAP) and strong data-analysis skills, plus a demonstrable affinity with AI and analytics applied to planning.

  • Working knowledge of capacity planning, materials management, inventory management and KPI management, carried by a continuous improvement mindset (Lean or Six Sigma).

  • A structured and decisive personality: comfortable making calls under time pressure, able to keep stakeholders aligned, and able to turn data into a clear recommendation.

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken; Dutch is an advantage.

  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume or regulated medical device environment, and exposure to S&OP or S&OE process design (an advantage).

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. This is an office role, based in Best, the Netherlands, which means working in-office at least 3 days per week.

This role is eligible for a maximum of 3% bonus/incentive, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision. Benefits include

  • Health and well-being programs supporting mental and physical well-being.

  • Career-growth resources, including a personal development budget, training and coaching.

  • 25 days of annual leave, with the option to purchase up to 20 additional days per year.

  • Company pension, collective health-insurance options, and opportunities to purchase Philips shares and products at a discount.
