We are looking for a highly hands-on and strategic SEO Manager to lead organic search growth across a diverse portfolio of brands and selected client accounts. This role combines SEO strategy, technical execution, content optimization, link building, analytics, AI search optimization, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing long-term organic growth strategies and getting into the details of audits, keyword research, content, backlinks, and performance analysis. You will also help brands adapt to the rapidly evolving search landscape, including AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other answer engines.

Key Responsibilities

SEO & AEO Strategy

• Own SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies across multiple brands and client accounts.
• Develop quarterly and annual organic growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities across traditional search, AI-powered discovery, and emerging search behaviors.
• Build actionable SEO roadmaps covering technical SEO, content, authority building, and search visibility.

Research & Content Strategy

• Conduct comprehensive keyword, competitor, SERP, content-gap, backlink, and market research.
• Develop keyword strategies based on traditional search demand and evolving AI discovery patterns.
• Create, edit, and optimize SEO-focused content when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve topical authority, relevance, and search intent alignment.

Technical SEO

• Conduct detailed technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with development teams to implement technical recommendations.
• Review site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, page performance, and other technical factors.
• Monitor technical SEO health and proactively resolve issues affecting organic visibility.

Link Building & Authority

• Identify and evaluate high-quality backlink opportunities.
• Assess potential links based on relevance, authority, traffic, placement quality, and risk.
• Develop sustainable strategies for improving domain authority and organic credibility.

AI Search Optimization

• Develop strategies to improve brand visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other answer engines.
• Monitor how brands are represented across traditional and AI-powered search experiences.
• Experiment with emerging AEO and generative search optimization techniques.
• Track changes in AI search behavior and incorporate relevant developments into SEO strategies.

Analytics & Performance

• Analyze SEO performance using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and other relevant tools.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions, revenue, backlinks, technical health, share of search, and AI search visibility.
• Develop clear performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Continuously optimize strategies based on performance data.

Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and support SEO team members while managing priorities and development.
• Collaborate with development, content, creative, performance marketing, ecommerce, and leadership teams.
• Ensure SEO priorities are effectively translated into execution across functions.
• Manage multiple brands, websites, and competing priorities while maintaining quality.

What's Makes You a Great Fit

• 4+ years of professional SEO experience with a proven record of improving organic traffic and search visibility.
• Strong expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink acquisition.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing SEO professionals.
• Ability to independently develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, and related SEO tools.
• Experience with AEO, Generative Engine Optimization, AI search, AI Overviews, or LLM visibility is highly valuable.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and the ability to communicate solutions effectively to developers.
• Experience managing SEO across multiple websites, brands, or client accounts.
• Exposure to travel, hospitality, hotels, vacation rentals, ecommerce, Shopify, or service-based businesses is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable balancing strategic ownership with hands-on execution.
