About this Senior Data Analyst role at Entain

Entain · Onsite · Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Who We Are

Entain is fearlessly transforming the global racing, sports and wagering industry, creating unforgettable customer experiences and pushing beyond traditional boundaries. Part of a FTSE 50 company with nearly 30,000 employees across 30+ countries, including Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand, Entain ANZ powers leading brands like TAB, Trackside and Ladbrokes. At Entain, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and Finance underpins the commercial decisions that drive performance, sustainable growth, and world-class customer experiences.

Your Impact

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll deliver high-quality, scalable analytics while partnering closely with stakeholders to shape business strategy and support key projects. Combining strong technical expertise with commercial and strategic thinking, you’ll design reporting, data models, and analytical solutions that enable better decision-making and align with business and regulatory requirements.

You’ll work across a range of projects, helping stakeholders define their data and reporting needs, translate business questions into actionable insights, and identify opportunities to improve performance. Rather than leading a team, you’ll act as a trusted business partner and subject matter expert, guiding analytics, data modelling, reporting standards, and the effective use of data and AI-assisted tools.

A Day in the Life

  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand their objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear analytical approaches, project plans, dashboards, reports, semantic models, and analytical datasets.
  • Design and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions using Snowflake, Streamlit, Power BI and other related tools.
  • Use automation and AI-assisted features to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with data, technology, and business teams to resolve issues and ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Share knowledge and provide informal guidance to analysts and stakeholders, without direct people leadership responsibilities.

Your Strengths

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related data role.
  • Strong experience working with analytics platforms, data modelling, semantic models, and reporting solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high-quality analytical and BI solutions using Power BI and related tools.
  • Experience translating complex business questions into practical analytical solutions and actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, governance, reporting standards, and analytical best practice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Life at Entain
