We are looking for a highly experiencedย Senior Development Engineerย with 10+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in distributed architecture, scalability, performance optimization, fault tolerance, secure communication, and resource management.
This role is suited for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building reliable, high-performance systems that operate across multi-node environments. Strong expertise inย Java, Hadoop, SQL, distributed systems, query optimization, and security protocolsย is essential, while experience with C++ is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimizeย large-scale distributed systemsย with a focus on scalability, performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Develop high-quality software usingย Javaย for distributed and data-intensive applications.
- Build and enhance data-processing components usingย Hadoopย and related technologies.
- Design efficient data workflows and optimizeย SQL queriesย for high-performance distributed execution.
- Implement secure communication mechanisms usingย encryption, authentication, SSL/TLS, and related security protocols.
- Develop resilient distributed components with effective resource management, task coordination, and failure-handling mechanisms.
- Analyze system architecture and communication patterns to identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex performance issues and bottlenecks across multi-node and distributed environments.
- Work closely with architecture, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Drive adherence to engineering standards, coding best practices, and quality processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, security, and operational stability.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 10+ years of professional experienceย in software development, distributed systems, or large-scale systems engineering.
- Strong hands-on programming expertise inย Java.
- Proven experience working withย distributed architectures, including scalability, fault tolerance, resource coordination, communication patterns, and system reliability.
- Hands-on experience withย Hadoop, SQL, and database/query optimization.
- Strong understanding of secure communication and security concepts, includingย encryption, authentication, SSL/TLS, and secure protocols.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex system performance and reliability issues.
- Strong analytical, debugging, architectural thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience withย C++ย is desirable.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such asย AWS, Azure, or GCPย is an advantage.
- Familiarity withย Docker and Kubernetesย or other containerization and orchestration technologies is a plus.
- Exposure to large-scale data processing frameworks and high-volume distributed systems is beneficial.
