About the Role:
MSS Security is seeking a Full Time Security Officer to join our team and work across our corporate sites in Melbourne CBD. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience working within a control room environment, including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, managing access control but also roving duties and customer service. This position requires 24/7 availability, including weekends.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and roving security duties across the site.
• Provide exceptional customer service and concierge support to staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms while completing accurate reports and documentation.
• Coordinate control room operations, manage site access, and support emergency response procedures.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid Victorian Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s licence
• 24/7 availability, including weekends.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a control room operator role (preferred)
• Experience using Gallagher systems (desirable)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
