Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products, systems and services within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid 

This role is contributing to the MOHP division in South Africa

You will be mainly accountable for: 

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through sales target management, pricing strategy execution, and performance analysis.

  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs by conducting market intelligence and competitive analysis to strengthen market positioning.

  • Manage product portfolio lifecycle from launch to phase-out, ensuring profitability, market relevance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market strategies, support sales enablement, and deliver sustainable business growth.

Qualifications for the role 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 year’s experience in Product management with knowledge of MV motors.

  • Proven track record with strong market and industry expertise.

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, driving market growth and identifying new commercial opportunities.

  • Exposure to and experience working across Sub-Saharan African (SSA) markets, supporting regional business objectives.

  • Market and products specific knowledge of Large motors and MV drives products will be beneficial. 

  • Experience of business development. (preferred) 

  • A National Diploma / University degree (engineering background preferable) 

  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business systems, with advanced computer literacy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels.

  • Willing and able to travel extensively to support customer engagement and business development activities.
