Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accurately scan, weigh, and dimension packages using approved systems (e.g., NSDS, DWS, handheld scanners).
  • Identify and correct billing discrepancies, including incorrect weights, dimensions, service levels, or missing data.
  • Ensure packages are processed in compliance with UPS revenue recovery procedures and audit standards.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail to support revenue integrity.
  • Safely lift, move, push, and position packages following UPS safety methods and ergonomics guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with Operations, Clerks, and Supervisors regarding exceptions or system issues.
  • Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and valid scan targets.
  • Report damaged packages, irregulars, or system issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Comply with all company policies, safety rules, and security procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry packages up to 70 lbs. weight limits.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use scanning and dimensioning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.
