YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
As a Regional Engineer Manager, your role is a constant blend of:
- Building Operations – You are an expert in all physical operations of mid-rise, high-rise and retail properties. You know just what it takes for your properties to be successful! You will recommend, review and continuing providing a quality business environment for tenants and a productive working relationship with property staff and outsourced engineering team, making every detail (and dollar) count.
- Building Management – You contribute to the achievement of property financial goals through effective productivity of internal and outsourced engineering staff. You'll regularly study asset needs, prepare schedules and inspections, and implement changes to ensure more efficient management of building maintenance operations. You are the go-to person who ensures all assets are operationally sound and visually maintained to Prometheus operational standards.
- Leadership – You develop and support the internal and outsourced engineering team with a focus on efficiency, training, growth, and engagement. By working closely with each engineering team member you are good at building relationships, providing direction, and effectively and efficiently getting the resources your teams need. Their success is your success, and your passion for coaching and communication will help your teams thrive. You’ll be supervising a team both internally and outsourced across multiple properties. You understand the big picture of operations and will help provide the structure and workflow for the team while mentoring them toward their career goals.
- Review and coordination of construction process. You will review construction plans and ensure specifications are upheld to the highest possible standards for quality by ensuring construction documents are of complete detail and scope to address critical issues such as code compliance, constructability, noise transmission, waterproofing, etc. with a focus on not only preventing future costs or delays during construction but also considering future needs and maintenance costs. You will help monitor the project schedule throughout the pre-construction and construction periods by assisting the third-party General Contractor and coordinating project interactions and schedules with both internal departments and external consultants.
- Industry Expertise – You have the in-depth and up-to-date knowledge on all commercial property-specific needs or problems to make sure they are dealt with up to legal and environmental standards. You’ll regularly review and schedule contractors, prepare all work scopes and contracts related to capital projects and have a sound knowledge for fair marker pricing (as well as a knack to negotiate when needed). Working with your stakeholders, you’ll analyze data, make suggestions and oversee the implementation of operations that makes our commercial tenants feel like they are at HOME!

YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
- Your Experience – Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in mid-rise and high-rise office buildings, including at least five (5) years of supervisory property management experience. Preferred technical experience includes FACP, electrical, HVAC, locks, water features, fire life safety systems, and building automation.
- Your Education - A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Technical Competencies - Formal training through programs such as BOMA, IREM, and/or vocational coursework is preferred. Candidates should bring a strong interest in Property Management and the ability to apply technical knowledge to building operations.
- Communication – Strong written and verbal ability to communicate effectively across functions to convey team goals.
- Relationships - Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders as well as focusing on finding creative solutions.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a variety of benefits that take compensation well beyond a paycheck. This includes traditional benefits and benefits you might not expect or know about. The provided salary range is based on a number of factors, including location, job-related skills, experience and qualifications.
- Pay Range: $138,000.00 to $196,000.00 per year
