Executive Summary

The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing end-to-end execution, procurement, and fulfilment for operational and project-specific requests. This role serves as a central operational point of coordination, ensuring goods and materials are sourced, allocated, transferred through regional distribution hubs, and delivered in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Operating in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgement, strong inventory oversight, effective escalation management, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Lifecycle Request & Fulfilment Execution

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of project-specific requests, ensuring alignment with agreed schedules and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate procurement and vendor sourcing activities to meet project material requirements.
  • Coordinate inter-hub stock transfers, monitoring specialist packing procedures, regional transportation schedules, and final-mile delivery verification.
  • Maintain proactive stakeholder communications regarding delivery milestones and lead-time expectations.

Escalation Management & Resolution

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational disruptions, transit delays, customs holds, and inventory shortages.
  • Investigate supply chain issues through root-cause analysis and implement mitigation plans to maintain delivery continuity.
  • Establish escalation pathways and implement corrective actions to minimise recurring operational challenges.

Inventory Governance & Distribution Support

  • Maintain inventory accuracy across distribution centres and regional storage locations.
  • Support physical inventory counts, cycle counting programmes, and audit readiness initiatives.
  • Analyse inventory movement trends to optimise stock positioning and reduce shrinkage risk.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Procurement, Logistics, IT Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and Warehouse teams to ensure operational alignment and execution excellence.
  • Deliver a high standard of service to internal stakeholders while managing expectations clearly and professionally.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Escalation Resolution Time: Average time required to resolve active supply chain disruptions.
  • Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA): Variance rate between system inventory records and physical stock counts.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Measured feedback and operational satisfaction from key internal business units.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain execution, operations delivery, logistics coordination, or a related field.
