About this Product Developer, Sr- .Net, Angular and SQL role at Epicor
About the Role:
The Product Developer, Sr is responsible for designing, coding, testing and maintaining company products by participating in all phases of the development process. The person should having hands-on experience in AI/ML frameworks. The Product Developer, Sr works with other areas of the business to provide recommendations and mentors other team members.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, test to support product features independently.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews for the functionalities and production workflows.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, training pipelines
- Create tooling and automation that support model lifecycle, CI/CD process
- Drive best practices for reproducibility, testing, and model governance.
- Mentor and train other developers on AI concepts, tools.
- Produce estimates for AI-related work and deliver on time with high quality.
- Design, develop, test, and should be capable of deploying AI/ML models and services to support product features.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Expertise in applied AI/ML models; strong practical experience with model development, evaluation, and deployment.
- Proficiency in C# .Net and AI/ML frameworks
- Proficient in Angular and Typescript, HTML
- Expertise in SQL & Oracle databases.
- Solid software engineering skills: unit/integration testing, code review, refactoring, and design patterns.
- Strong analytical thinking and complex problem‑solving ability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high code quality and observability.
- Mentorship skills and experience delivering formal/informal training.
- Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and industry domains quickly.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of applicable software engineering experience with demonstrated success.
- 2+ years of specialized experience in machine learning or AI engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated track record of shipping AI/ML features to production.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and related managed ML services.
- Background in AI ethics, model fairness, or explainability.
- Familiarity with domain-specific challenges for our products (e.g., manufacturing / process automation).
- Good to have knowledge on RestAPI, Microfocus Cobol and JavaScript.
