About the Team
Platform Hiring Team (PHT) is building a centralized, technology-enabled hiring engine for repeatable, scaled hiring roles across supported DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt businesses. You'll join the Platform Hiring Team, PHT's system-facing execution arm. This team owns candidate delivery inside the active hiring platform, today Fountain: reviewing AI-supported recommendations, making the final hiring decision, and moving candidates through to offer at speed and scale.
About the Role
You'll provide day-to-day coordination, coaching, and quality calibration for a group of Platform Hiring Specialists while maintaining direct delivery responsibility. Your delivery contribution will scale with team size. You'll own daily metrics, queue health, and capacity, surface risks before they affect hiring dates, and act as the primary contact for system issues affecting the group. You'll resolve routine operational issues, route complex risks to the accountable leader or PM Team owner, and flag sourcing gaps to the Platform Hiring Partner.

- Lead team engagement, culture, collaboration, and performance across assigned workflows.
- Own daily metrics, queue health, funnel conversion, candidate drop-off, no-shows, offer acceptance, handoff quality, and service commitments for the team.
- Monitor capacity and escalate delivery risk before candidates or hiring plans are affected.
- Recommend short-term work assignments, surge coverage, and queue rebalancing based on demand.
- Coach and lead Specialists through regular one-on-ones, quality reviews, and structured development plans.
- Run calibration sessions for candidate decisions, approved scoring, eligibility, and exception handling.
- Act as the primary contact for system issues and program tickets affecting the team.
- Resolve routine operational issues and route complex risks to the Head of Platform Hiring Team.
- Collect process improvement opportunities and package them with evidence, impact, and recommended action.
- Flag pipeline weakness and sourcing needs to the appropriate Platform Hiring Partner.
- Maintain direct platform delivery at the contribution level established for the team span.
- Support onboarding, training, documentation, and adoption of new workflows and tools.
We're excited about you because
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting, recruiting operations, sourcing operations, or a comparable service environment.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience of 3-6 directs, including regular one-on-ones, coaching, performance management, and calibration.
- Process driven, and a strong knowledge of candidate review, funnel management, offers, and applicant tracking system data quality to achieve KPIs, and SLAs.
- Ability to use daily operating data to prioritize work and make fast capacity decisions.
- Confidence handling escalations, giving direct feedback, and maintaining consistent standards.
- Comfort working across markets, time zones, languages, and changing demand.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to describe problems clearly and quantify impact.
How success is measured
- Daily queue commitments and throughput targets are met.
- Candidate decisions are consistent, accurate, and well documented.
- Funnel conversion, candidate drop-off, no-shows, offer acceptance, and accepted-offer handoffs remain within target.
- Capacity and pipeline risks are surfaced before service impact.
- Routine issues are resolved quickly and systemic issues reach the correct owner.
- Team engagement, capability, and performance improve over time.
- Direct contribution remains aligned with the agreed span-based capacity model.
