About this MIS Senior Supervisor role at Manulife
The role is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and distribution of agency performance, management, and sales campaign reports to support effective monitoring of key performance indicators, achievements against targets, and overall channel performance. It works closely with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Sales Management, Regional Offices, and other business units to deliver reliable reporting, monitor the progress of sales promotions, incentives, and conferences, and provide insights that help drive campaign objectives and support business decision-making.
Position Responsibilities:
Information Management & Reporting
Active involvement in company projects & initiatives, providing relevant data and insights based on capacity as project POC/SME
Provide insights and analysis resulting to data-driven recommendations
Simulation & processing of Financing Programs and Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) of SMTs
Preparation & timely release of periodic sales performance reports to effectively monitor Channel performance on various KPIs (APE, headcount, activity, productivity, etc), ensuring that the reports are processed and released in an accurate, timely & well-organized manner
Preparation & timely release of reporting requirements for both local and regional stakeholders
Release of periodic updates for promos, incentives, contests and conferences, ensuring results are aligned to the mechanics, including post-contest requirements
Data consolidation enabling creation of visual dashboards (charts, graphs, diagrams, etc) of various KPIs for efficient presentation of data, allowing a strategic view for analysis & write-up
Continuous improvement and enhancement of current reports, with periodic review to ensure reports remain relevant vs. the key strategies and KPIs being driven
Creation of new reports that may be required following the strategy and objectives of the Channel
Work process documentation
Others
Active participation and involvement in Distribution projects, programs & initiatives
Close coordination with various departments (Agency distribution and other business units)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management or related courses
2-3 years of experience in the life insurance industry in a distribution performance reporting role and advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Derive key insights from volumes of data
Knowledgeable in financial spreadsheets preparation, trend analysis, data simulation and report commentary writing
Technical programming skills, data processing & simulation
Strong numerical & data processing skills
Has attention to detail and accuracy, methodical & process oriented
Able to effectively prioritize deliverables and multi-task
Able to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within the agreed SLA
Has positive attitude, works and functions well in a team environment
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
