This is an onsite position. This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

What You Will Do

o Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool, and fixture designs.

o Support daily manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporation of engineering changes into the MDP.

o Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required.

o Drive Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data driven decision making.

o Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.

o Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics into processes. Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications You Must Have

o Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree or a minimum of 2 years’ prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:

o The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

o Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

o  Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

o  Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills

o  Current DoD security clearance (secret)

o  Experience with automated tooling, machinery and programming

o  Experience with Refurbishment and Repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE)

o  Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
