Your responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap Process   ~50%

• Design and run the company strategy cadence — annual strategy review, quarterly milestone board, OKR derivation and tracking.
• Own the roadmap process (dependencies, interfaces, priorities); technical content stays with SciTech Teams.
• Produce decision-grade material for leadership and the board.

Technology Partnerships & Ecosystem ~50%

• Build and operate Marvel Fusion’s ecosystem/alliance program, modeled on leading industry alliance programs: partner mapping, alliance governance, onboarding, working-group cadence.
• Structure and advance technology collaborations (MoUs, JDAs, joint development) aligned with the roadmap - partner selection, timing, location.
• Support/ own selected strategic partnerships/ programs directly, e.g., Siemens Energy, Fusion Hubs

What you bring

• Sharp strategic thinker who can set direction and build the process to execute on it
• Exceptional interpersonal skills: the role lives at the interfaces between departments, leadership, and external partners and only works if people trust and want to work with the person in it
• Technical background and genuine willingness to go deep into the physics & engineering - enough to earn the respect of the SciTech teams
• 3-4 years of experience in an ops & strategy role in a deep tech startup eg aerospace, biotech or energy
• There could be a scenario where we split the two parts into 2 roles - if the person has significant experience in rolling out OKRs, topic 1 would have priority
