THE WESTGOLD OFFER

• Full-time, permanent position based at our Beta Hunt site or Tuckabianna site.
• Remuneration includes base salary + site allowance + wellbeing allowance + up to 15% STI bonus + Superannuation
• Variety of roster options to suit your lifestyle:
  • 8:6–7:7 – 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off flying in and out on Tuesdays to Beta Hunt
  • 14:7 – 14 days on, 7 days off flying in and out on Wednesdays to Tuckabianna
• Flexible employment options including FIFO, DIDO, and residential opportunities in Kambalda, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra & Cue – choose what works best for you!

THE ROLE

• Provide prompt and effective light vehicle maintenance support to our underground gold mines
• Evaluate vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to accurately diagnose problems
• Review vehicle computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
• Carry out regular maintenance activities to improve vehicle performance and lifespan
• Adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations
• Liaise with Contractors and Stakeholders as required

WHAT DO I NEED

• Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
• Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
• Experience within a mining or heavy industry environment
• Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
• Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
• Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)
• Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
• Excellent communication skills with a can-do, team-oriented attitude

• Strong desire to maintain and promote a proactive safe working environment
