VirtueStaff is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Legal Intake & Sales Specialist on behalf of our law firm client. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between prospective clients and the firm, managing inbound calls, conducting thorough intake interviews, and guiding leads through the decision to hire the firm. This position demands a mix of polished customer service, receptionist proficiency, and strong sales ability to build immediate rapport, qualify potential cases, and convert inquiries into retained clients.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound client calls promptly and professionally while representing the firm with excellent phone etiquette.
• Conduct structured intake interviews to screen potential clients, collect accurate case details, and determine eligibility based on firm criteria.
• Utilize sales techniques and active listening to articulate the firm's legal services, overcome prospect hesitation, and ask for the consult or agreement signature.
• Schedule consults with legal staff or send retainer agreements directly to prospective clients following successful intake calls.
• Follow up consistently with uncommitted leads, web inquiries, and missed inbound opportunities to maximize client conversion rates.
• Log all incoming call data, case notes, consult schedules, and lead statuses accurately within the firm's CRM or legal management software.

Requirements

• Prior experience conducting client intake within a legal practice environment is required.
• Strong sales background with demonstrated success in consultative selling, closing agreements, or handling objections over the phone.
• Experience in receptionist, front desk, or high-volume call handling roles with an emphasis on customer service.
• Direct working experience within the legal industry is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a professional, empathetic phone demeanor.
• High attention to detail when documenting client case facts, entering CRM records, and routing information to legal teams.
