FanDuel is seeking a Manager, HR Business Partner to join our HRBP team. This role will partner with leaders in assigned function(s) to deliver people strategies that support business performance and strengthen team effectiveness. FanDuel is a fast-moving business where change happens regularly. We are looking for someone who brings clarity to people challenges, helps leaders build strong teams, and operates as a trusted advisor within their client group.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a particular function or business area and bringing HR expertise to solve real problems. Success will require solid HR knowledge, the ability to build strong working relationships with leaders, sound judgment, and the confidence to partner effectively with leaders to solve people challenges.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN

- Develop a deep understanding of your assigned function(s) and serve as the primary HR partner to leaders within that area.
- Provide guidance on talent management, including hiring, performance management, development, and retention of team members.
- Support leaders with organizational decisions, role clarity, team structure, and capability planning.
- Help leaders manage performance, including coaching on tough conversations, documentation, and corrective action when needed.
- Advise on employee relations issues; work through problems with leaders and implement effective resolutions.
- Support team leaders through organizational changes by providing clear communication, leader alignment, and coaching.
- Develop deep expertise in your area’s HR needs and bring practical solutions to leaders’ people challenges.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, and other HR partners to deliver coordinated solutions for your function.
- Execute core HRBP work with excellence — recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and organizational change.
- Continuously improve how you deliver HR partnership by building strong relationships, increasing your HR expertise, and identifying better ways to support leaders.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Minimum of 2-3 years of HR Business Partner experience.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience
- Experience in a particular function or business area, with ability to develop deep expertise.
- Strong HR knowledge across talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting managers and leaders through people challenges and organizational decisions.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
- Comfort with HR processes, systems, and documentation.
- Experience working collaboratively with other HR functions to deliver coordinated people solutions.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to feedback, and continuously improve your HR partnership.

The applicable salary range for this position is $103,000 - $129,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
