Our work reaches hundreds of whānau, rangatahi, tamariki and kōhungahunga every year, guided by manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga, pono me te tika and mana motuhake.
The role
As Finance Operations Coordinator, you'll coordinate the day to day financial operations of the Te Taumata Trust Group, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations, payroll administration support and month-end preparation. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager and Management Accountant, keeping transaction records accurate, complete and audit ready.
This is a 6 month fixed term position based in Rotorua.
What you'll bring
- Experience in finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable or reconciliations
- Good numeracy and strong attention to detail
- Experience supporting payroll administration is desirable
- Working knowledge of Xero, ApprovalMax or similar systems
- Confidence using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
- Understanding of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga and the ability to work respectfully in kaupapa Māori environments
