About this experienced Veterinary Technician Part-Time role at AmeriVet

We are currently looking for an Experienced Part-Time Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.
Qualifications
preferably 3 or more years' experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred – or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Pay Range: $22.00- $28.00, based on experience
Schedule Requirements:
- Alternating weeks of 3-day and 4-day work weeks.
- 4th day worked will be a Saturday shift. Must be able to work a rotation of alternating Saturdays.
