The Role

We are currently seeking an Engineer – Drainage & Flooding, Roads & Highways with experience in transport or infrastructure projects to join our Sydney team. This is a permanent opportunity supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across NSW and nationally.

With a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Drainage professional with an interest in drainage design and flood modelling to contribute to a highly capable multidisciplinary team.

With 2+ years’ experience, this is an opportunity to further develop your technical skills, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver high-quality analysis and design outcomes that meet client and industry standards.

You will have gained your experience within an engineering consultancy (or similar environment) and bring a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the discipline.
 

About You

Suitable applicants will have:

  • Degree qualified – Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar)

  • 2+ years of Australian experience in drainage design and stormwater management

  • Exposure to infrastructure projects (roads, highways, rail or urban development)

  • Familiarity with Austroads Part 5, 5A & 5B and Australian Rainfall and Runoff guideline 2019

  • Working knowledge of 12d Dynamic Drainage Analysis

  • Ability to contribute to technical deliverables and support project teams in meeting deadlines and budgets

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior engineers
