Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to support safe, compliant, and high-performing operations across critical data center facilities in the APAC region. This role is responsible for driving EHS programs, supporting engineering operations teams and vendors, ensuring compliance with client and Cushman & Wakefield standards, and helping maintain strong operational performance across safety, service, and reporting requirements.

About the Role:

  • Support the implementation of EHS policies, systems, and procedures across site operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, client standards, and Cushman & Wakefield requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of SWMS, risk assessments, and other safety documentation.
  • Provide coaching and support to site teams, subcontractors, and vendors on safe work practices.
  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to strengthen site safety culture.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for project teams and clients.
  • Support incident, near miss, and corrective action management, including escalation and follow-up.
  • Provide leadership support to onsite engineering operations teams across multiple operational workstreams.
  • Ensure site teams and vendors strictly adhere to approved client and Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures.
  • Support SLA, KPI, and client reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Contribute to vendor governance, contractor meetings, and corrective action plans where performance falls below expectations.
  • Provide advice on operating client facilities safely, including support for statutory compliance and certification requirements.
  • Support client projects and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure safe execution of work on site.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, landlords, vendors, and head office platform teams, to support operational performance and scalability.
  • Support facility-related budget compliance in line with contract requirements.

About You:

  • 5+ years of relevant health and safety experience in data centers, critical environments, engineering operations sites, or similar industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience supporting EHS programs, audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident management.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple operational streams and manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence site teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, client reporting, and stakeholder management.
  • Written and spoken English proficiency is required.
  • Professional qualifications in health and safety or related disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Industry-recognized professional qualifications in relevant fields are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CMMS or operations management systems such as MCIM, Famis 360, BI dashboard tools, or similar platforms.
