Te Tūranga – About the role
We have 2 x 12-month fixed-term opportunities available!
As part of the Retail Operations Deployment Team, you'll play a critical role in supporting the rollout of Safe Food Pro, helping our member stores transition to a digitised way of managing food safety and compliance. Working closely with store teams, Compliance Managers and Owner Operators, you'll provide training, coaching and operational support to ensure successful adoption of the programme and positive business outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping others learn and adapt to new ways of working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Safe Food Pro training and coaching to store teams.
- Supporting stores through the transition to a digitised food safety platform.
- Identifying training needs and developing practical solutions.
- Building trusted relationships with Owner Operators, Compliance Managers and store teams.
- Supporting project delivery within agreed scope, timeframes and budgets.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and the overall success of the deployment programme.
- Helping minimise compliance and food safety risks through effective training and support.
He kōrero mōu – About you
You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a wide range of stakeholders. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience in training, coaching, facilitation or change support.
- A background in food safety, compliance, retail operations, or a related field (experience with Safe Food Pro would be highly advantageous).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning and organisational capability with the ability to work independently.
- Confidence presenting to both small and large groups, in person and virtually.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A full New Zealand Driver Licence is essential
