As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high benchmarks for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of solutions to adapt to evolving requirements.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical expertise.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and outcomes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to SAP environments.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP applications.
- Ability to develop scalable and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and code review processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
