About the role

We are looking for a Content Programmer (Media Scheduler) to join our Content License Management & Storefront team. The role is based in Barcelona. Reporting to the Content License Management & Storefront Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow in the streaming industry.

Key Responsibilities


Content Selection and Programming:

  • Curate and select titles to ensure a diverse and appealing content library.

  • Define a content strategy to apply on the storefront and linear channels based on seasonality, industry trends, business priorities and audience preferences. 

Provider and Avail Management:

  • Coordinate with distributors and manage studio avails to ensure content and license availability.

  • Handle and coordinate promotional activities with content providers.

Operational Coordination:

  • Follow internal procedures to create and manage assets with Operations, Acquisitions, and Studio Providers.

  • Maintain the content database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyse title performance and take editorial actions to improve conversion rates.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize content selection and programming strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience in VOD/Linear streaming services.

  • Deep knowledge and passion for cinema, theatre releases, and industry trends.

  • High level of English, written and spoken.

  • Advanced Excel Skills.

  • Experience using CMS tools and managing studio avails.

  • Methodical and organized approach to daily tasks.

  • Ability to create and follow workflows to improve efficiency.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable interacting with different internal departments and external providers.

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast growth and changing environment.

  • University degree in required.

Base salary range: 17.000 - 20.000 EUR gross/year.
