• Leads analytical/developmental projects

• Engages stakeholders to develop customized solutions, both locally and on cloud

• Design and automate data ETL (extract, transform, load) processes

• Handles data storage and visualization

• Designs database and program structure

• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis and conducting testing sessions from proposed solutions

• Documents solutions by creating technical and functional documentation which consist of flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

• Develops and deploys solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis and recommends changes in policies and procedures from the systems’ perspective.

• Updates job knowledge by keeping up-to-date to current development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment

• Manages projects with external developers

• Participates in educational opportunities by reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.

• Protects company data and operations by keeping information confidential.

Job Requirement :

• Degree in bioinformatics/ data science / computer science / computer engineering / or related area

• 8 to 10 years in development role

Technical

• Experienced with Python, R, PHP, HTML, Power Apps and SQL

• Experienced in Cloud

• Experienced in data processing and visualization using SuperSet/ Power BI/ Tableau

• Knowledgeable in both Windows & UNIX OS

• Knowledgeable in Bash scripting

• Familiar with remote data via REST and JSON and to connect to back-end services

• Understand the application of third-party libraries and APIs

• Experienced with GIT
