About this Business Planning Analyst role at Contentsquare
The Business Planning team is responsible for maximizing the commercial potential of Contentsquare’s product portfolio. The team develops and evolves the company’s business models, pricing, packaging, licensing, and commercial frameworks across products, segments, industries, geographies, and channels.
As a Business Planning Analyst, you will bring analytical rigor and operational discipline to the team’s pricing and packaging work at every stage of the business model lifecycle. This includes:

Providing data and market-driven insights and analysis to support business model creation.

Translating business requirements to program and engineering teams to facilitate the operationalization of business models in our systems.

Supporting sales teams with tools and resources.

Building and supporting a data-driven feedback loop that measures business model performance and informs where pricing or packaging changes may support revenue growth.
What you’ll do
Support business model creation. Deliver insights based on data and market analysis in support of the business model design and decision making process.
Analyze commercial performance. Evaluate commercial metrics (revenue, ARR, churn, pipeline) to spot trends and optimize pricing and packaging via clear executive models and recommendations.
Link product usage to revenue. Merge product usage data with commercial metrics to understand retention and value. Partner with Product and Analytics to define key performance drivers.
Executive Communication. Maintain dashboards tracking pricing efficacy and lead quarterly business reviews with data-driven leadership summaries.
Track competitive market dynamics. Monitor competitor models, pricing, and packaging to sharpen Contentsquare’s market position and commercial strategy.
Operationalize business models. Translate pricing decisions into requirements for CPQ, Product, and RevOps, managing SKUs, quoting workflows, and UAT for seamless execution.
Enable field tools and resources. Maintain pricing calculators, guides, and an AI support agent to empower field teams, refining assets using ongoing feedback.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience: 3+ years in business analysis, commercial analytics, product analytics, strategy, revenue operations, or finance.
Analytics Proficiency: Strong hands-on SQL skills, advanced spreadsheet modeling, and proficiency with BI/data visualization tools.
Business Insights: Ability to analyze complex commercial metrics, connect data-driven insights to business strategy, and provide practical growth recommendations.
Collaboration & Communication: Skilled in cross-functional partnership, managing ambiguity, AI tool fluency, and presenting technical findings to senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
SaaS & Commercial Strategy: Experience with SaaS pricing, packaging, licensing, monetization, or business model strategy.
Systems & Operations: familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, DealHub, and operationalizing pricing or packaging changes in business systems.
Data & Analytics: Experience with product telemetry, usage data, competitive intelligence, and building dashboards or recurring performance reporting.
Relevant Background: Experience in strategy consulting, product management, revenue operations, finance, or a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
