About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing business initiatives and programs, as well as serving as advocates for Wells Fargo's vision and business plans across business groups.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
  • Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in business execution, business support, governance, risk management, controls, operations, compliance, audit, or related functions.
  • Basic understanding of operational risk, control frameworks, governance routines, and issues management practices.
  • Experience supporting reporting, metric tracking, scorecards, dashboards, or management updates.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience maintaining procedures, documentation, inventories, or centralized repositories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare meaningful insights for leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Deliver governance, control, and risk management activities accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, inventories, procedures, and evidence repositories.
  • Ensure action items, audit commitments, and remediation activities are actively tracked through closure.
  • Support leaders with reporting, governance routines, and risk management deliverables.
  • Escalate risks, issues, missed milestones, and dependencies in a timely manner.
  • Build effective partnerships with operations, risk, compliance, audit, and business support teams.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, strong ownership, and accountability for assigned deliverables.
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
  • Support business initiatives, change management efforts, and ongoing operational excellence activities.
  • Consistently operate in accordance with enterprise risk management standards, policies, and governance requirements.
