Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Understanding the task and evaluating the required input from business.

  • Proactive communication for missing information, tools and/or other resources to execute the task

  • Creating 3D models and 2D drawings of various products on the given GEA technology

  • Following the drawing/model review process established in team

  • Taking full accountability of own design drawings/models 

  • Generating equipment fabrication drawings and bill of materials

  • Responsible to execute and deliver engineering projects to business.

  • Planning own work in line with overall project schedule with manager

  • Creating product deliverables on transportation, lifting, service and other similar areas

  • Time-manage multiple tasks and keep the recipient updated on progress

  • Flexible enough to cater new task bedsides design like engineering documentations etc.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • You hold Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience and knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD Tools. Preferably Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD 2025 or higher, knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D would be an added advantage.

  • Must have knowledge of workflow and integration between Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Inventor or Team Center & Autodesk Inventor.

  • Must have knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding symbols & surface treatment.

  • Knowledge of hygiene and sanitary requirement of equipment.

  • Ability to read & understand Equipment specification, P&ID information & Engineering drawings.

  • Technically sound in Design Fundamentals and BOM creation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Good knowledge of PDM & ERP system – Bluestar, Axapta, SAP would be an added advantage.

  • Agility and independency in task execution as a team player

  • Flexible to take various design tasks within or across the teams

  • Self-motivated to learn various products/systems within various GEA technologies

  • Solution seeker when faced with challenges.

  • Used to work systematically and independently with a team focus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Adaptable to work and adjust agile scenario.

  • Willingness to continuously learn on job.

  • Since GEA is highly international and work required to collaborate with GEA colleagues globally, Fluency in English skill – Verbal and written is mandatory.
