A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a production assembler at MKS Malaysia, you be responsible for assembling all electronic component parts including for the preparation, placement, and installation of all component parts. In this role, you will report to the Production Supervisor.


You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and accurate parts according to assembly procedures, custom specs and quality standards.
  • Follow strictly the established rules concerning Quality, Health, Safety and Security
  • Diligently follow what he/she has been trained and understands and follows the work instructions and technical documentations for the best Quality Standard
  • Component preparation, placement and installation
  • Conduct repair/touch up/modifications on the products as required.
  • Contribute to the regular efficiency improvement by his/her discipline and professional ethics.
  • Inform immediately her/his manager in case of abnormal deviation of the process, the machines or the components.
  • Be able to work on different aspects of manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set.
  • Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives, 5s, and safety procedures.

Skills You Bring:

  • Minimum SPM/SPMV/certificate from a recognized institute with a good growth mindset
  • Successful 2 to 5 years’ experience working in the electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Competences in manual soldering is an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of English (read and write)
  • High professional mindset and disciplined, reliable and trustable.
  • Knowledge of standards in electronic components handling preferred.
  • Basic Excel experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player


Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30–50 lbs.; man, oeuvre totes and parts.
  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
  • Work in ESD-controlled clean room environment; use PPE as required.
  • Able to work on 12 hours rotating day/weekend and night shift.
  • Flexibility for shift coverage and occasional overtime to support production schedules.
  • Ability to accurately differentiate color-coded components, markings, and visual indicators in accordance with operation standards.
