Job Description:

Job Summary

The Application Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the application engineering team and overseeing the development and maintenance of software applications. This role ensures efficient handling of application development, troubleshooting, and technical support, contributing to effective software solutions and organizational growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the application engineering team.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of software applications.

  • Conduct needs analysis and develop application solutions.

  • Manage and maintain application systems to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide excellent customer service to users and stakeholders.

  • Document and maintain accurate records of application development activities.

  • Support the full life cycle of application development, including testing and deployment.

  • Collaborate with IT team members to improve application processes and user experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Required: 5+ years of experience in application engineering or a related role.

  • Preferred: Experience with software development and application systems.

  • Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking

  • Functional Expertise

  • Software Applications

  • Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • Supervisory Management

  • Preferred: Application Engineering certification (e.g., CSDP)

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in an office environment and perform tasks that may require sitting, standing, and using office equipment.

The Compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
 
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
 
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
