About the Opportunity

AdeptHR is hiring a Wire Harness Assembler for a growing manufacturer of advanced Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in Monrovia, CA.

This is a hands-on production position focused on building and assembling the wiring and cabling used in UPS systems. You'll work from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and visual references to produce high-quality wire harnesses and perform light soldering work.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months of consistent performance.

What You'll Do

• Build wire harnesses and cabling according to engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Measure and cut wire to required specifications.
• Crimp connectors and terminals onto wires.
• Perform light soldering of wire harnesses to PCB boards and other connectors.
• Inspect and verify incoming materials before assembly.
• Inspect completed cables and harnesses for accuracy and quality.
• Identify acceptable versus poor-quality crimps.
• Use crimping tools, soldering tools, drills, and other hand and power tools.
• Follow written, verbal, pictorial, and engineering drawing instructions.
• Plan assembly work and maintain close attention to detail.
• Follow established production and workmanship standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of related wire harness, cable assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience cutting wire and crimping connectors.
• Ability to recognize good versus poor-quality crimps.
• Experience with basic soldering is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with different types of hardware and electrical components.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and crimpers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
