What You´ll Do

  • Administration, monitoring, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Entra ID, Intune).
  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments - Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, system patching, and backups.
  • Manage endpoint devices via Intune and Autopilot, including policy configuration, compliance baselines, and device lifecycle management.
  • Administer and customise Atlassian Jira and Confluence, ensuring alignment with team workflows and integrations.
  • Apply security best practices across systems, ensuring compliance, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across systems, cloud platforms, and applications.
  • Provide consultation to IT support specialists on software and hardware configuration; assist in resolving complex incidents.
  • Contribute to IT strategy discussions and propose improvements to enhance performance, security, and reliability of IT systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.

 

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in Windows systems administration with broad Microsoft platform exposure.
  • Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, replication).
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills, including identity, access control, automation, device management, monitoring, and incident resolution.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell.
  • Understanding of virtualisation solutions (VMware / Hyper-V) and storage technologies.
  • Deep understanding of OIDC, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and MFA flows; experience integrating SaaS platforms with Entra ID.
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms (PRTG, SolarWinds, SIEM tools).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and modern cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, ABDO, NIS2).

 

Certifications (Advantageous)

  • Microsoft Certified - Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Security+ or equivalent security-focused credential.
  • MCSA / MCSE (Windows Server) or equivalent demonstrated experience.
