Job Description

Based in Sparks, Maryland and reporting directly to CFO Amol Chaubal, the Vice President, Finance for the $2.2B
Waters Advanced Diagnostics Division will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Division President,
acting as a true co-pilot in driving performance, growth, and value creation. Waters Advanced Diagnostics—
comprised of microbiology, molecular diagnostics, LC-MS-based multiplex testing, automation solutions, and
point-of-care testing—operates in highly regulated, high-impact clinical environments with significant
opportunities for expansion and innovation.
This role carries full financial leadership responsibility for the division, including P&L oversight, commercial
finance, R&D investment governance, operational performance, capital allocation, and strategic planning. The
VP, Finance will play a central role in shaping business strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making, and
ensuring disciplined execution across growth initiatives, cost structure optimization, and margin expansion. As a
key member of both the Division Leadership Team and the CFO Leadership Team, this leader will influence
critical decisions spanning pricing, portfolio strategy, go-to-market investments, and long-range planning.
The position requires a highly engaged finance leader who can seamlessly connect strategy with execution—
translating complex data into clear insights, challenging assumptions, and proactively identifying opportunities
and risks. The role will also partner closely with Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, and executive leadership
to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and effective communication of financial performance and
outlook.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic finance executive to lead the financial agenda of a scaled,
innovation-driven business at the intersection of life sciences and diagnostics. The role offers significant
visibility, impact, and a pathway to broader enterprise leadership, including future CFO opportunities within a
global public company.

capex, productivity initiatives, and strategic investments. Ensure strong ROI frameworks and postinvestment
tracking to maximize value creation.

and other enterprise functions to ensure alignment with broader company objectives, consistent messaging,
and seamless integration of divisional performance into enterprise reporting.
. Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization
within the division. Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and talent development,
creating a strong pipeline of future finance leaders.
. Proven Divisional CFO / P&L Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading finance for a large,
