Limepack is a dynamic, fast-growing European e-commerce company specializing in custom-printed takeaway packaging. Growing at 30-50% annually, we double our size every 2-3 years. We connect European brands with top-tier manufacturers. We are now expanding our production partnership network in Turkey (primarily around Istanbul) and are looking for a senior, autonomous Partnership & Sourcing Manager to be our local representative and "boots on the ground."

Role Overview

Type of contract: Freelance / B2B Contract (Independent Contractor)

Location: Remote, based in Istanbul (with regular field/factory visits)

Time commitment: Part-time, flexible hours (Average: 10 hours/week, up to 20 hours based on availability)

Hourly Rate: $30 - $60 USD / hour (depending on experience)

Reporting to: Product Sourcer and CEO

Key Outcomes & Responsibilities

Your main mission is to identify, vet, and build long-term relationships with the single best packaging manufacturers in Turkey. This is not a short-term gig; it is an ongoing role that scales from initial sourcing to full relationship management.

Sourcing & Mapping: Conduct thorough online/offline research to map out smaller and mid-sized packaging and printing producers in the Istanbul area.

Boots on the Ground: Personally visit factories, conduct production compliance checks, audit workflows, and run pre-shipment quality control.

Bridge the EU-Turkey Gap: Ensure that manufacturers understand and meet strict European compliance laws regarding food packaging, materials, and quality standards (which are significantly stricter than local Turkish laws).

Negotiation & Pitching: Conduct light negotiations, pitch Limepack as a premium long-term partner, and secure strong commercial terms.

Onboarding Project: Your first paid task (10-30 hours) will be to source and onboard a local compliance testing house/legal partner in Turkey.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years in Procurement, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, or Supply Chain Management.

Industry Background: Direct experience working with manufacturing, ideally in paper products, packaging, printing, or FMCG (food contact materials/cosmetics is a massive plus).

Language Skills: Native Turkish and excellent business-level English (you will communicate directly with the leadership in Denmark).

Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and a willingness to travel heavily around Istanbul’s industrial zones.

Business Setup: Ability to legally invoice Limepack as an independent contractor/freelancer (e.g., Sahis Sirketi).

Seniority: A highly professional communicator who can confidently represent Limepack in front of factory owners and directors.

Travel & Logistics Expenses: Fully covered (100% reimbursement for gas, transport, and travel required for manufacturer visits).
