We’re looking for experienced HDPE Pipefitters to join our growing telecom construction team. This role will be responsible for installing, preparing, joining, and protecting HDPE conduit for fiber-optic infrastructure.
Travel is required for this position. Projects are located throughout Arizona and surrounding states, with crews typically rotating to a new project location approximately every four weeks.
Essential Responsibilities:
Install, lay out, align, and assemble HDPE (polyethylene) pipe ranging from 4” to 8” diameter in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements
Measure, cut and prepare HDPE pipe
Join HDPE conduit using manufacturer-specified adhesive bonding systems, including proper surface preparation, adhesive mixing/application, and curing procedures
Pull, place and secure conduit
Inspect completed joints and conduit runs
Assist with trenching, bedding, pipe placement, tie-ins, and backfill operations as required
Be willing and able to perform general manual labor when not actively fitting
Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years experience in conduit installation preferably in underground utilities, telecommunications or civil construction
Ability to accurately measure, cut and assemble conduit
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
