About the role
Are you passionate about using technology, data and operational expertise to transform how customers experience delivery? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the business ownership and optimisation of our Last Mile Delivery platform, helping shape the future of customer fulfilment across Australia and New Zealand.
As our Transport Administration Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the performance, governance and ongoing evolution of our last mile delivery platform. Working across Supply Chain, Technology, Operations and external delivery partners, you'll help create smarter, safer and more efficient delivery experiences for customers while supporting the growth of our last mile network.
At Bunnings, there are a million ways to make an impact, and this role offers the chance to influence how we use technology, carrier networks and operational excellence to deliver better outcomes at scale.
What's involved
- Lead the governance, optimisation and ongoing performance of our Last Mile Delivery platform.
- Drive improvements in delivery promise accuracy, route optimisation, carrier utilisation and customer experience.
- Guide the configuration of carrier networks, service offerings, routing rules and rate structures that support consistent national operations.
- Partner with Technology teams, carriers and platform providers to enhance integrations, platform capability and operational performance.
- Support the successful onboarding of new delivery partners and help establish scalable operating standards across Australia and New Zealand.
- Use data, reporting and performance insights to identify opportunities to reduce cost-to-serve, improve productivity and create better customer outcomes.
- Champion strong governance, risk management and compliance practices, including Chain of Responsibility obligations and delivery safety controls.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy connecting people, technology and operations to solve complex challenges. You're naturally curious, commercially minded and comfortable working across large, interconnected networks where collaboration is key.
You'll be joining a team that values practical problem-solving, continuous learning and shared success. We work closely with a broad range of stakeholders and delivery partners, so your ability to build trusted relationships, navigate change and bring people together will be just as important as your technical expertise.
What you'll need
- Experience leading transport, logistics, supply chain or delivery technology operations within a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of last mile delivery, carrier management and customer fulfilment networks.
- Experience working with transport management systems, SaaS platforms, delivery orchestration tools or route optimisation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical and commercial capability, with experience using data to improve performance and drive outcomes.
- Experience managing external vendors, carriers or technology partners.
- Knowledge of operational governance, compliance, risk management and change delivery.
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Technology or equivalent experience.
You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
