What we do at Weir
We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact
You’ll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You’ll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that’s through engineering, planning or customer support. You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.

What you’ll do

  • Current State Configuration Analysis: Analyze existing Time & Attendance system configurations including pay rules, work rules, schedules, accruals, attendance policies, calendars, workflows, and integrations. Document current-state system behavior and business processes, identify dependencies and compliance requirements, and partner with regional stakeholders to understand operational needs.

  • Requirements Gathering & Solution Analysis: Lead workshops with Payroll, HR, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to document and validate functional, operational, and compliance requirements. Perform gap analysis and translate business needs into configuration specifications. Support solution design with implementation partners.

  • Configuration Leadership: Act as the primary business-side configuration lead throughout the North American implementation. Support design, build, migration, and validation of pay rules, work rules, shift differentials, overtime calculations, schedules, attendance policies, leave and accrual programs, time collection processes, approval workflows, and workforce management integrations. Review and validate vendor configurations ensuring alignment with payroll and operational needs.

  • Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce management processes and configuration. Facilitate design and configuration review sessions, work closely with implementation partners to ensure accurate translation of requirements, and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Business Readiness & Knowledge Transfer: Support development of process documentation and training materials. Participate in cutover planning and go-live readiness activities. Conduct configuration walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions. Assist with post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
