Clear Creek is seeking a Tier 2 Enterprise Operations Engineer (Entry) in Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Tier 2 troubleshooting and support for a virtual infrastructure using VMware. Additionally, the candidate will provide operations support for physical devices and cabling within a data center.

The schedule for this position is as follows: 

Monday - Friday:  10:00AM - 6:00PM

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide Tier 2 Incident Management triage, troubleshooting, and resolution for virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, vCenter, and various technologies.
• Fulfill Tier 2 Service Requests, including Virtual Machine builds, decommissions, and changes to resources.
• Provide technical customer communication and interface.
• Maintain and support physical devices and cabling within a data center, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage systems. 
• Install and configure physical devices and cabling within a data center. 
• Monitor IT infrastructure through prescribed tools and continuously ensure systems monitoring tools are configured to ensure comprehensive system state awareness 
• Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, including ServiceNow, to execute Tier 2 Service Request Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes 
• Participate in other ITIL process areas such as configuration management, change management, release management, service-level management, availability management, capacity management, service continuity management, information security management. 
• Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex issues. 
• Continuously improve operational processes and procedures. 
• Ensure compliance with security and operational policies. 
• Active Top-Secret Clearance Required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience. 
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
• 2-4 years of experience with VMware vSphere and/or vCenter.
• Experience with enterprise-level environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions.
