The ICB Lead will ensure excellence and ownership in end-to-end Intercompany Operational processes within MGS Finance.  This role will oversee timely delivery and accurate financial close for all Intercompany activities.  The ICB Lead will oversee the process performed by the third-party provider, work with Tax & Statutory Teams, as well as be the Business Partner to the OE controller and provide ownership of the numbers and KPI’s as well as steering compliance with global policies, accounting standards, integrity and accuracy of Financial Statements

What will be your key responsibilities?

Operations

• Understand end-to-end financial operations for Intercompany Processes

• Provide guidance regarding all transactional accounting and reporting in Intercompany processes as first level of escalation within MGS.

• Responsible for service delivery excellence for MGS Intercompany Accounting including measuring and enhancing our key performance indicators to drive actionable results.

• Lead projects and analyses related to automation, efficiency, and standardization of ICB processes.

• Ensuring compliance with global policies and accounting standards, integrity, and accuracy of Financial Statements through oversight and monitoring of sound internal controls.

Business Partner:

• Partner to deliver accurate and timely financial results for all business units serviced.

• Drive agenda of standardization including sharing of best practices and deciding on global processes.

• This role will be closely collaborating/partnering with Controllership, Tower Leads in MGSF Spoke organization, FP&A and Business Partners.

• Partnering with the OE (Segment) to lead on improvement of the quality of accounts, providing insights on the ‘What’ across finance statements for their OE.

Efficiency and Effectiveness:

• Own and drive the clean chart of accounts

• Partnering and supporting the Functional/Operational Excellence team to enable standardization and efficiency efforts across their OE
