Your Role
To optimize Alleima's tax position and to ensure that Alleima is compliant with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations and/or to ensure a timely and accurate tax reporting.

Your primary scope of work is to perform Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing functions that includes focusing on monthly tax compliances, tax assessments, Govt Audits & litigations and other related Statutory Compliances.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing compliance for the company, ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
•  Prepare, review and coordinate timely filing of corporate income tax returns, advance tax computations, tax payments and related statutory submissions.
•  Manage withholding tax (TDS) compliance, including tax deductions, payments, return filings, reconciliations and issuance of tax certificates
• Lead Transfer Pricing compliance activities, including preparation and maintenance of TP documentation, Local File, Master File, benchmarking studies and statutory filings.
• Coordinate and manage Tax Audits, Transfer Pricing Audits and Income Tax Assessments, ensuring timely responses to queries and closure of matters with tax authorities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tax consultants, statutory auditors and regulatory authorities on all Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing matters
• Monitor changes in tax laws, regulations and judicial pronouncements, assess business implications and ensure timely implementation of required actions.
• Provide tax support and advice to business, finance and commercial teams on contracts, cross-border transactions, intercompany arrangements and other business initiatives
• Manage tax litigations, refunds, notices and appeals, while maintaining effective relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.
• Drive continuous improvement in tax compliance processes, automation, governance and reporting to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance risks.
• In addition, the employee may be assigned other duties within the area of their competence.

About You

You should be a Chartered Accountant, Additional qualification in taxation or law will be added advantage.

Having Strong and Min 5 years relevant work experience in direct tax/transfer pricing in MNC or leading consultancy firm with an exposure to corporate accounting and related Other compliances.

Preference is given to female talent with an utmost focus on diversity and inclusion.

You must possess great technical / behavioral competence that includes and not limited up to: Excellent command on MS office, Excellent Planning and organizing skills, Good in Time management, Good in written and oral communication Good Team Player.

• Accountability & Ownership – Takes full responsibility for outcomes, compliance obligations, risk mitigation and timely closure of tax matters.
• Stakeholder Management – Builds strong relationships with business leaders, auditors, consultants, tax authorities and other internal stakeholders.
