micro1 is engaging Tax Advising Experts to contribute to a customer's project focused on tax preparation and advisory services. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Review and analyze a diverse array of real-world tax scenarios to provide clear and accurate guidance consistent with IRS regulations and industry standards.
- Evaluate and annotate tax-related documents and workflows to establish rubrics and best practices for AI training purposes.
- Deliver input and recommendations on income tax preparation and filing, leveraging your CPA or Enrolled Agent experience.
- Identify subtle complexities and edge cases in federal and state tax situations to enhance AI model reasoning and accuracy.
- Collaborate remotely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals focused on advancing AI capabilities in the tax advisory domain.
- Document your insights and feedback in a structured, detailed manner to ensure clarity and high-quality dataset contribution.
- Continuously monitor and assess AI outputs for accuracy and completeness, providing suggestions for iterative improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent credential a must.
- Must have proven expertise in income tax preparation and filing for individuals and/or businesses.
- Strong command of communication principles, with an ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly and succinctly.
- Experience with developing or applying rubrics, checklists, or quality standards in tax advising or education settings.
- Interest in contributing to the advancement of AI and technology-driven solutions within the tax or accounting sector.
- Attention to detail and ability to recognize nuances in tax law and regulations.
- Prior participation in training, auditing, or peer review processes (a plus, but not required).
