SW Engineer II

Job Description:

Be part of an Agile team, participating in all Agile ceremonies & activities and be accountable for the sprint deliverable. Implement Sprint feature stories and unit tests ensuring high quality code and minimum feature test coverage is achieved. Define, build, support and document solutions based on business needs. Design software carefully considering functional and non-functional requirements. Use core design patterns, coding best practices and enterprise pattern best practices. Be an advocate of quality-up-front and test driven/behavior driven development, supporting the team with the Definition of Ready and achieving our Definition of Done. Remove silos, contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of features. Diagnose and debug issues within the system or in downstream dependencies, working with other teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation. Experience must include:

• 3 years of experience in software engineering  
• 3 years backend development experience using Golang
• 3 years integrating with GraphQL and/or REST APIs
• Demonstrated Knowledge** of Languages/Technologies: Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience working with Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools: CICD & Dev Ops: Github, Github Actions, JIRA, Test Automation 
• General database knowledge (specifically in Mongodb-realm, Bigtable, Bigquery)
• Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted.

**Knowledge can be demonstrated through coursework, training, or experience.

OR

Master's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or a related technical field and demonstrated knowledge** in the following:

• Software engineering  
• Backend development using Golang
• Integrating with GraphQL and/or REST APIs
• Languages/Technologies: Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes
• Working with Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure) 
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tools: CICD & Dev Ops: Github, Github Actions, JIRA, Test Automation 
• General database knowledge (specifically in Mongodb-realm, Bigtable, Bigquery)

Work location: 864 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. Annual salary range: $109,930 to $142,300
