Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center – Surgical Tech

About the Job:

The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently looking for a highly-skilled Surgical Technician to join their team. As a surgical technician at the surgery center, you would be responsible for preparing operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures. You would also assist surgeons with various tasks in the operating room such as passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning. Additionally, you would be responsible for sterilizing equipment and instruments, preparing supplies, and transporting patients to the operating room.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, holding retractors, and suctioning
• Sterilize equipment and instruments, prepare supplies, and transport patients to the operating room as needed.
• Monitor vital signs of patient under surgery as directed by medical staff

Who You Are:

• High School diploma required. Graduate or student of a formal Surgical Technician program or education/training in the military.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospital Operating Room or ASC preferred
• Surgical Technician certification required. BLS certification required.  Medical Technician Certification from the State of New Hampshire required unless other current NH state license is held.

Located on the beautiful Queen City Avenue campus in Manchester, NH, Elliot 1 Day Surgery & Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Our center features 6 operating rooms and 6 procedure rooms and operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering an excellent work-life balance with no call, no weekends, and no holidays.

As a Surgical Technologist, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled surgeons and multidisciplinary teams across a wide variety of specialties, including:

• Orthopedics, including total joint replacement, arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, tendon repair, ORIF, and hand surgery
• Podiatry
