- Provide second-in-command (SIC) seat support during simulator-based training events.
- Support clients participating in FAA-approved training programs.
- Maintain proficiency and performance standards as a qualified simulator crew member.
- Assist with simulator evaluation events conducted by CAE or regulatory authorities.
- Contribute to a professional, respectful, and effective learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, instructors, and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout training activities.
- Initial training requires a commitment of up to three weeks or more.
- Workdays may exceed 11 hours, with simulator sessions typically not exceeding six consecutive hours.
- Scheduling may occur any day of the week and at any time of day based on candidate availability and business needs.
- Assignments may be scheduled 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- A minimum commitment of 10 to 15 workdays per month is required.
- SCMs must complete a minimum of 35 events within a rolling 12-month period to maintain program participation and recurrent training eligibility.
- Candidates must meet all applicable TSA requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Airplane Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating.
- Instrument Rating, Airplane Multi-Engine Land.
- Minimum 50 hours of multi-engine and instrument flight experience.
- Minimum 400 hours total flight time.
- Ability to complete required initial and recurrent training.
- Availability to support a minimum of 35 events within a 12-month period.
- Ability to commit to scheduled training and work assignments.
- Must reside within the Las Vegas, Nevada area.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Ability to work in a customer-focused training environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 100 hours turbine flight time.
- Previous experience supporting flight training activities.
- Experience operating within FAA Part 91, Part 135, EASA, or other regulated aviation environments.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively within a crew resource management (CRM) environment.
- Experience interacting with clients from diverse operational and professional backgrounds.
